Finding Joy in the Journey
You’ve heard it before: “it’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey”
Have you thought about why that is?
There’s life after destination. Once you’ve “arrived” you still exist. There’s life after destination. If you’re unable to find joy in the process of getting to your journey, then you’ll return to old habits the moment you’ve reach that destination.
Weight loss. Lift PR. Endurance PR. Finally hit that 5k. That 10k. That marathon. Finally lost that baby weight.
What about life after that?
There’s a reason 80% of people who loose significant weight gain it back in excess a year after.
There has to be joy in the journey. Know the destination, but live within the journey. Once you find joy in the journey, you’ll not only reach your destinations, you’ll find new destinations you never could have imagined.
